As the 2008 election hots up, so does the blogs, pod casts and political social networks. “What!!” I hear you cry, no politicians playing the saxophone, holding babies for staged photos, or having a town hall meeting with locals wondering who you are?

It remains to be seen if a politician can win the New Hampshire primary without physically visiting the State, but I do wonder if there’ll be any good Microsoft case studies in the coming years on how they used this technology to win. SharePoint, Live Communication Server and Groove are tecnologies for this sort of activity, as there’s the built in security, a flexible platform, and unbeatable collaboration.

If only the politicians could be off shored.
