In this session, we will explore the intelligent collaboration tools, rich engagement features, and advanced protection and management capabilities that Teams Premium offers. These enhanced features are designed to address key customer needs such as more productive meetings, new digital engagement opportunities, and growing security threats.

Below are the questions and answers from the January 2025 Meetup Session.

Q. Tell us a bit about yourself? – City, family, hobbies, job title
A.  Northern Virginia outside of DC, soccer mom to 9 year old daughter, 2 guinea pigs as pets, Copilot Technical Specialist at Microsoft

Q. Tell us something about yourself that not many people know about you?
A.  Prior to moving to the Dc area to work in IT I lived in Nebraska and was a supervisor for child and family services handling child abuse and neglect investigations 

Q. 1st job out of college
A.  Worked fulltime during college in the IT department of my university in Florida. My favorite thing to do was drive our golf cart around campus delivering IT equipment to the different buildings 

Q. Your 1st version of SharePoint that you experienced and what year
A.  SP 2007 in 2012

Q. Describe a SharePoint train wreck project, and what did you learn?
A.  Large scale SP migration from 2010 to 2016. Lots of workflows and tasked with converting access data bases into SP solutions  with workflows and infopath forms, no clear requirements or decision makers

Q. Your favorite M365 feature/tool and why
A.  Teams!!!! It just makes work so much easier in so many ways 

Q. Where do you want to be in 5 years?
A.  I want to be doing the same thing I am doing just even better at it! I want to continue to learn and grow be part of the AI revolution
