The Gartner Group, the organization that can make or break a technology product, has dismissed the idea of iPhones becoming business tools, but the analyst group seems to be warming to the possibility.

Sounds like the business user buying their gadgets on company expenses.

After banished from IT spending patterns for over a decade, Apple could be making a comeback in 2008, with this back door approach, which is going to be worrying for the folks at RIM and Motorola.

I suppose Apple would have to license their ActiveSync technology to MS, for the iPhone to fully work with an Exchange server, IMAP mode will work for now.

But Christmas isn’t ruined….There’s always Office 2007 🙂
